Local Partnerships:

City Impact: Serve Lincoln’s inner city families by tutoring, mentoring and empowering kids through a weekly Bible Club. Contact Jo Sheets.

Friendship Home: Help support women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Individual and large-scale service projects are available. Contact Julie Reager.

Kids Against Hunger: KAH is a nonprofit organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the United States and to feed starving children around the world. First Free Church partners with this ministry by packaging highly nutritious food packets using volunteers ages 5 and up. Contact Robb Maddox. 

Royal Family Kids Camp: Offer hope and encouragement to abused and neglected children during this week-long summer camp. Contact Julie Craw.

Outreach Ministries:

Micro-Missions: Serve in the Lincoln community with projects that include landscaping, home repairs, etc. Micro-Missions are scheduled on a quarterly basis. Contact Robb Maddox.

Angel Tree: Provide gifts and the love of Christ to children of incarcerated parents during the Christmas season. Contact Jody Klitzke.

People’s City Mission: Serve the homeless in the Lincoln area. Contact Amy Cink.

Adopt-a-Soldier: Help to send “care packages” and letters of encouragement to American soldiers serving overseas. Contact Gayle Hughes.

Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center: Provide for routine needs of the LCPC, such as, washing and folding clothing, sorting and organizing donated items, filing paperwork, etc. Contact Pat Bower at 402-489-4823.

Hope for Children: Provide care for orphaned children and foster children, and encourage adoptive parents. Contact Guy & Christine Pinkman.

Timberlake Ranch Camp: Be a leader for the kids attending this Christian summer camp and make it a special time for each participant. Contact Gail Hanquist.

Computers for Christ: Donate old computers to be refurbished and given to needy families and ministries/churches who could not otherwise afford them. Contact cfcefree@gmail.com.

Operation Christmas Child: Help to fill shoeboxes with toys, school supplies and hygiene items to be delivered to children around the world along with the message of God’s love for them. Contact Pat Bower at 402-489-4823.

Good News Jail & Prison Ministry: Meet the spiritual needs of inmates and prison staff members through evangelism and discipleship. Contact Sheldon Crapo.

International Ministries:

Serve with ESL Students: As a conversation partner, you will meet one-on-one with someone from another culture to help them practice speaking conversational English. In a conversation group, you can help group leader facilitate discussions during Saturday morning conversation group (9:30-10:30 a.m.) On Sunday mornings, participate in an International Bible Study class (9:00-10:00 a.m.) and build bridges with people from diverse cultures. City Impact Needs Volunteers

City Impact is in need of volunteers to help with prepping the construction area for their new location at 1035 North 33rd Street. Demolition date is Saturday, February 11. Contact Robb Maddox at (402) 483-7635 if you are available to volunteer.
